1. Andover House - Great Yarmouth

This is our top pick for restaurants in Norfolk. It has delicious food and surroundings. The atmosphere is very swagger and the staff are pleasant. Andover House is my guilty pleasure, and I endevour to visit every couple of months. The evening dinner is £19 for 2 courses and undeniably in my opinion the best food in Norfolk. Restaurant Site »

2. St Benedicts Restaurant

French Bistro with an intimate atmosphere and particularly great service. The food is delicate yet substantial. The chef is the owner and takes care preparing the dishes. This review is based on the lunch menu which is very affordable at £11.95 for 3 courses. Restaurant Site »

3. Sherringham's No. 10

This lovely little restaurant has about 20 covers and is owned by a delightful couple. Mustapha is the chef and has 18 years in the industry. Passionate owners means good food and atmosphere. This little gem in Sherringham has great service, excellent food and an average price. Restaurant Site»

4. Vernon Arms, Southrepps

Homely food, well priced and great character. Makes for a lovely visit. They have a huge open inglenook fire which is always lit during the Winter. You have to book in to eat though as they are usually fully booked. Restaurant Site»

5. The Merchants of Spice

Situated in the heart of historic Norwich, Small and independently owned restaurant with a warm atmosphere. This restaurant opened recently and after visiting I was welcomed with friendly staff and decent food. I had to order some yoghurt to tame the spice. The portions are large so don't order a starter, and the prices are quite high but for a special treat it is highly recommended. Restaurant Site»
